Kim Kardashian did not make an impression on critics when she was cast as a marriage counselor in the new movie Tyler Perry's Temptation: Confessions of A Marriage Counselor.

While the 32-year-old enjoyed her appearance in a film and praised her director's efficient method, critics could not believe the reality star was chosen for the film and questioned why she was even considered for the role.

Radar Online noted that one critic, Alonso Duralde from The Wrap, said "Kim Kardashian, as nasal and awful an actress as you might imagine... And Kim Kardashian, as the protagonist's bitchy fashionista coworker, vainly trying to act."

TimeOut gave the film a one star rating while film critic Roger Moore called Kardashian's performace "vapid" and gave the film 1½ stars.

"What alarms me more than anything - I mean I'm a seasoned campaigner and you can't scare me with Tyler Perry - is the casting of Kim Kardashian in the film," wrote Ken Hanke of Mountain X.

Jenni Miller from Hollywood.com mocked Kardashian's acting roles in the film by saying the star has the inabilitity to inflict emotion on her audiences.

The film is about an ambitious woman who has an affair with a handsome billionaire. Kardashian plays a preened businesswoman who loves figure-hugging dresses and criticizes her co-workers for not meeting her standards of style and beauty.

Vanessa Williams, Brandy Norwood and Eric West also star in the film, now in theaters.
