Tupac Shakur Mother Dead: Twitter Reacts To Afeni's Death, 'Reunited With Her Son' [VIDEO]
Afeni Shakur Davis, the mother of the legendary Tupac Shakur, has died at the age of 69.
Davis suffered a possible cardiac arrest at her home in Sausalito, Calif. Monday night, according to a sheriff's report on Tuesday. After being taken to a local hospital, she passed away.
A looming figure in Shakur's life, Davis would be the subject of "Dear Mama," one of his most famous songs.
"There's no way I can pay you back/But the plan is to show you that I understand/You are appreciated," he rapped in the song.
