Fans know that Hollywood Exes star Mayte Garcia and the late singer Prince had a special relationship, even after their divorce. But what does that mean for her financially now that he has passed away?

One insider said that while Prince provided many things for Garcia and his other famous ex, Apollonia, they will not get any of his $300 million estate. It has come out that Prince did not write a will before his passing. So his estate will instead go to his next of kin, which is his half-sister.
“Prince was very generous and he takes care of everybody… for sure he was financially taking care of Mayte, for sure, he was very generous,” a source told Hollywood Life recently. “I don’t know about Apollonia. She had a lot going on and maybe didn’t need his help as much.”

They added that Prince did assist Appollonia every once in a while.

Prince also had another ex-wife, Manuela Testolini. But she is now married to singer Eric Benet. So it might be safe to say that she wasn’t receiving any financial help from Prince. But she has said that she is opening a school in his honor.

Apollonia spoke out for the first time about his shocking death via Facebook on April 26; just five days after he passed away on April 21.
“My dear friends and family, thank you so much for your sentiments and prayers,” she wrote. “The love you have shown for my dear friend Prince has been my support system. Your dedication to his profound beyond words.”

She added that she has also been confiding in her media consultant Elliot Mintz.

“He has been my guide and guardian angel as I want to honor and continue to have the greatest respect for Prince and his preference for privacy.”

She added that she would be sharing more when she was ready.

She wrote that she was “not ready to express what’s in” her “heart” just days before.

Garcia also had a message for Prince just after his passing.
