Users of the Nokia Lumia 920 on AT&T reported that phones running on the new 1308 firmware update are experiencing connectivity issues, according to users complains compiled by Windows Phone Central.

The update - which adds advanced Storage Tools and improves sensors, among other things - makes some phones connected to LTE have its data either come in very slowly or not at all for both uploads and downloads. Screenshots show the phone's display stating the message "The file can't be displayed" or "We're having trouble displaying this page...Try the following..."

Users have left complaints on the site's forum since the update was released toward the end of March and a majority of the discussions deal with connectivity problems. Some have also noted missing text messages and phone calls.

One of the many complaints read as follows:

"My phone is basically useless while at work. I get two bars of LTE now but no data connection with it. I miss phone calls, texts, and cannot browse the Internet while connected to LTE. I do get a very slow connection once it switches to 4G only but I have no way of forcing it into 4G." - JamesF25.

GottaBeMobile emailed Nokia to get more information about the issue and if it is working to be fixed. The website has yet to get a response but Nokia moderator tiny_chef replied to the forum topic by saying, "We have forwarded this concern to the relevant department for further investigation."

Nokia Care US recommended users activate and then deactivate Airplane Mode to deal with the issue.

The firmware update allows users to set new options for display timeouts. They can choose from 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes and 5 minutes increments to customize the exact amount of time before the Lumia 920 locks itself, according to the report. The update's Storage Check also allows users to find out exactly how much space each installed application is using on the device.

In other 920 news, the Nokie Lumia 920 Facebook page has an image (posted on Tuesday) of the smartphone in a brand new "Mint Green" color, set to arrive in the market soon. The phone is currently available in black, white, yellow, red and blue colors.
