When Jaime Pressly's assistant lost her phone on April 5, it led to a confrontation between the American actress and Canadian actress Estella Warren at the Hollywood hotspot Bootsy Bellows.

An insider said that Pressly, 35, wanted to help her assistant. When they found out the assistant's purse and phone were missing from a house in Los Angeles, the two tracked the phone to Bootsy Bellows using a "find my phone" app, Us Weekly reported.

When they arrived at the Hollywood location, 42-year-old Warren claimed the phone belonged to her. Pressly tried to get the phone back and the insider said, "She wasn't aggressive, but she was forceful."

Warren asserted that she was the rightful owner, but Pressly insisted that the phone belonged to her assistant.

The confrontation did not turn violent but police were called to the scene after drugs were found in Warren's purse. It took hours to resolve the issue, according to the report.

"Jaime and her assistant were volunteering for a drug test. They said the drugs weren't theirs," said the insider. "It was this crazy mess."

The West Hollywood's Sheriff's Department said they responded to two calls at Bootsy Bellows on April 5 - a theft, at around 2 a.m., and a stolen vehicle - but they are still investigating the case.
