Prince Death Update: Singer Could've Died From Mix Of Drugs, Doctor Might Be Questioned? [VIDEO]
More speculation on Prince's death has been revealed.
In Wednesday's report from TMZ, it was mentioned that the singer could've died last month from a mix of drugs, including Percocet and opiate Buprenorphine. Apparently, the police are wondering if these drugs were combined in Prince's system.
Having these drugs combined can be fatal because medical experts say they can suppress breathing, says the site.
At this point, sources are saying the medical examiner is still waiting on toxicology results so there is still no official word on what killed the "Purple Rain" star. But it was mentioned that his doctor and the son of a rehab doctor were at the house when he died.
The rehab doctor's son Andrew Kornfeld reportedly had the Bruprenorphine drugs in his backpack, which are used to treat opiate addiction. The site also claimed that Prince's doctor went to his house to deliver test results.
Kornfeld's lawyer revealed that his client wasn't at the house to administer the drug, but was there to deliver to a local doctor.
If it turns out though that the combined drugs are in Prince's system, then Kornfeld and the doctor might be questioned to see what level of Percocet could've been inside the singer.
Meanwhile, Prince's bodyguard Chris Gaither previously opened up on the rumors that Prince was addicted to drugs, saying that he didn't see anything like that happening.
"I packed this man's bag on the daily," Gaither told CNN. "I have been on tour with him for months. So if anybody had an addiction that would be something you would see. That would be something that you would know."
"He may have had an issue where he had to go to the doctor and they prescribed something for him, but as far as him abusing stuff, that's not him," he added. "When it comes to health, he's the fittest person."
