Amber and Jim Marchese might have quit Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey but the drama is still going strong between them.

Now, Jim has been taken into custody amid claims that he got physically dangerous with his wife, who starred in the show in its sixth season. And apparently the entire incident took place on an airplane. While charges have been dropped, it might only be the beginning of the drama.

“The District Attorney’s office as well as the City Attorney refused to press charges after reviewing the lack of evidence in the case against James Marchese,” an insider told Radar Online Thursday.

But this is the real kicker. Jim said he wasn’t hurting his wife at all. Instead, he insisted they were actually having sex. So they’re suing Virgin American Airlines for $100 million for the “disgusting” rumors.

Jim said in a statement, “Amber and I have a mutually respectful, beautiful relationship and any allegation I would ever physically harm my wife is clearly someone’s twisted view of a character played on TV.”

He added that he’s not the only one who doesn’t take domestic violence lightly.

“[Amber] would never stand for any type of mistreatment. To put it mildly, she would kick my a** if I ever got out of line!”

While The Real Housewives of New Jersey cameras might not have caught the moment, it’s possible it could be a part of the Marches’s alleged new reality show.
