Bill Cosby Allegations: Actor Gets Arraignment Date As Twitter Reacts, 'Good To See' [VIDEO]
Bill Cosby will stand trial this summer for sexual assault charges, a district judge ruled Tuesday.
Cosby was ordered by District Judge Elizabeth McHugh Tuesday to stand trial for charges that have been over a decade in the making. Former Temple University employee Andrea Constand told police back in 2005 that the comedian had given her three pills that ultimately made her unable to ward him off as he allegedly sexually assaulted her.
"I told him, 'I can't even talk, Mr. Cosby.' I started to panic," she told police at the time. Cosby reportedly penetrated her with his fingers, all while she became dizzy, her vision became blurry and her legs felt "like jelly."
McHugh set Cosby's arraignment for July 20.
Twitter users have been reacting to the breaking Cosby news all day, many of which are happy to see the charges moving forward to a trial. Check out some of the best Twitter posts relating to the case:

The story of powerful people & companies enabling Bill Cosby because he was making them millions of dollars is horrifying in its own right.

Good to see Bill Cosby will be tried on sexual assault charges, and it only took 58 women coming forward with their stories. 58.

I'm not defending Bill Cosby but neither do I trust his accusers or those prosecuting him. There are no innocent ppl in this situation.
