They were trying to get back at a jerk who made fun of Ciara (Vivian Jovanni) being raped and Theo's (Kyler Pettis) Autism when they were crowned Prom King and Queen, but now, Ciara and Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) will need to face the consequences of their actions as they face the judge for vandalizing his car on Days of Our Lives.

After the incident went down, the two along with Joey (James Lastovic) and Jade (Paige Searcy), spray-painted an obscenity on the car the bully drove to the prom. However, they were all arrested when the revelation came through that the car was actually his father's, and his father was one of the most influential judges in Salem. Now, the teens are all facing charges for the crime they committed.

Since they were released on bail, Joey and Jade have gone on the run to protect her from her parents, who wanted to send her away because of the trouble she continually got into. Joey went with her so he could escape his own problems with his parents, who were once again separated. The two are now at Jade's Aunt's commune in California, and Joey has no idea what trouble could be facing him there.

Meanwhile, back in Salem, the day of reckoning has arrived for Ciara and Claire, who are set to appear for a hearing, something both are admittedly nervous about. Since their arrests, Ciara has been struggling with Hope's (Kristian Alfonso) seeming to always be involved in her business, and has made plans to move into the DiMera guesthouse so she can have a place of her own, and still be near Thomas, who she has been nannying. Claire has been also trying to rebel since she still can't get over her parents divorcing, but neither one has forgotten that they could wind up heading to jail if the judge doesn't either drop the charges against them, or choose to be lenient since it is their first offense. Now, their fates and futures will be sealed.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
