UCLA Shooting 2016: 2 Men Dead In University Rampage [UPDATED]
Two men have been reported dead after a shooting was reported at the University of California in Los Angeles earlier today.
According to reports the campus is on lockdown and the situation is still considered as active as of 11:40 a.m. Pacific time, because no suspects have been spotted or taken into custody.
The Los Angeles Police Department said in a press release that shortly after 10 a.m. officers responded to multiple calls of shots being fired on the UCLA Campus, and that two men were confirmed as having suffered from gunshot wounds, though no additional suspects have been seen, prompting the lockdown of the campus and surrounding areas.
According to The Washington Post, the two men who were wounded are dead, and they were found in an Engineering building on the campus. That building has also been identified as Boetler Hall.
Students have taken to social media to share updates about the situation as well.

LAPD has now confirmed the situation is contained and the campus is safe, with the deaths believed to have been a possible murder-suicide, though they still ask for everyone to exercise extreme caution in the area
