Miley Cyrus Liam Hemsworth Married: Engaged, Australian Ceremony Plans? [VIDEO]
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have reportedly made plans to wed.
Although the couple has yet to confirm they are re-engaged following a two year split, a new report claims they will wed in Hemsworth's native Australia.
“They’re getting married on the beach,” a source close to the couple told Us Weekly magazine, according to a report by Hollywood Life on Wednesday.
While planning a wedding overseas can be quite challenging, the source went on to reveal that both Cyrus and Hemsworth's parents having been extremely hands-on throughout the planning process.
“Their parents are doing most of the work. It’s been easy!” the source explained.
Just weeks ago, Cyrus' dad spoke about their relationship, but wouldn't say whether or not they were engaged.
"Here's what I do know. They're so happy. That's the main thing," Billy Ray revealed to E! News last month. "Miley and I, we always had this slogan—'If you ain't happy, it ain't working.' Just seeing these—I still call 'em kids—these two kids happy, that's all that matters."
What Billy Ray did say was that if they do get married, he would be happy to play a part in the ceremony.
"If any of my kids decide that they're gonna have a wedding of any kind, whatever role they want me to play, I'll be there, you know what I mean?" he told Culiner. "They want me to be the butler—that's fine. Whatever they choose. I might make a good preacher."
Earlier this month, while speaking to GQ, Hemsworth opened up about his split from Cyrus at the end of 2013.
“Of course it was hard, man,” Hemsworth told the magazine. “But at the time we were going in different directions and it’s just what needed to happen. We were both super young and it was a good decision at the time—we both needed that.”
“I guess when I feel something, then I just feel it and I go for it,” he continued of their relationship. “I make my decisions about what’s going to make me happy, what I think is right and what I want to do – and I don’t worry too much outside of that.”
