Safaree Samuels And Nicki Minaj: 'Only' Rapper's Ex Tells The Truth About Her After Twitter Rant [VIDEO]
It might have taken him awhile but Safaree Samuels has finally responded to Nicki Minaj’s rant against him.
You might remember it went down via Twitter as she called out her ex-boyfriend for suing her two years after their split. She also hinted that he wanted to get back with her, but her new “man” Meek Mill wasn’t having it. See that here.
Well now, Samuels has clapped back with a few responses of his own. Rather than taking to Instagram or Twitter to blast the rapper and actress, he sat down with TMZ’s Rock Rants this week.
He said he has not filed a lawsuit against Nicki and had no problem breaking down what really happened.
“If I filed a lawsuit for something that high profile, it would be all over. A lawyer speaking to another lawyer is not filing a lawsuit.”
Samuels said that he has not taken part in extortion as far as trying to get Nicki’s money.
He also shut down her claims that he is “bitter.”
“I’m far from miserable. I’m very happy. My skin is glowing. My abs are bulging out.. I had to keep this jacket on because if I didn’t it was just be popping out. My coconut oil is about to be popping out.”
He also said his music career is about to take off.
“I am not bitter,” he said of Meek Mill and Nicki. “I have no idea what’s going on.”
Despite all of their differences, Samuels said, “I don’t hold grudges. Too much was done for me to be like ‘I hate this person.’ No, I’m over it. It is what it is.”
Still, he said that he is single after being connected to singer K. Michelle and a breakup with makeup artist Zashia Santiago.
