'American Horror Story' Season 6: How Long Does Evan Peters Want To Star In FX Series? [VIDEO]
If Evan Peters had his way, he would be starring in American Horror Story forever.
This should be good news for fans of Peters and his involvement in American Horror Story. The actor spoke recently in a video interview about how he wants to keep acting in the FX miniseries.
"I would totally do that!" Peters said in a web chat with GoldDerby (seen below), when asked if he would keep starring in the series after 20 seasons. "Can you imagine? That would be amazing. Obviously the material is just so bizarre and different and fun. I've been very fortunate to be able to play a different character every season. I would keep that going forever."
Peters is the only actor to have a starring role in all five seasons of American Horror Story, and looks to be involved in the upcoming sixth season as well.
The young actor also admitted that playing the sadistic hotel owner James Patrick March in American Horror Story: Hotel was a fun one.
"I was very excited to play a villain this year," he stated. "A full-on villain with no repentance whatsoever. That was kind of fun and crazy. I like doing the torturing as opposed to being tortured. As an actor, it's so much more fun to play the delight of doing it all as opposed to the pain of being on the receiving end."
As Peters alluded to, he has often portrayed the victim of villainy on the series, whether it be Kit Walker against the Briarcliff asylum in Asylum, Kyle Spencer getting murdered in Coven or Jimmy Darling being the victim of prejudice in Freak Show.
Meanwhile, Peters also talked about the Emmys, which are coming up very soon and how American Horror Story has had incredible success at the award show.
"[Showrunner] Ryan Murphy has a very good eye and is sort of a genius when it comes to creating stories," he said, discussing the show's award success. "It's mixed with Jessica Lange and Kathy Bates and Sarah Paulson and these incredibly talented actresses. It is a horror show, but it is also an incredibly complex drama, it really is."
American Horror Story season 6 premieres this fall on FX.
