Yolanda Foster has written a book about her ongoing struggles with Lyme disease, and earlier this week, the cover art was released.

Following a rough season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Foster was hard at work on the upcoming publication, which is quite appropriately titled, Believe Me: My Battle with the Invisible Disability of Lyme Disease.

"I am determined to find a cure affordable for all," Foster told PEOPLE Magazine on Thursday. "And it has been my dream to write a book to share all the treatments, knowledge, and spiritual growth I have acquired these past five years. As I've said previously, it's my Dutch foundation that gives me the balls and courage to share my raw and unedited story with the world! By sharing my journey in this book, I hope to offer a voice and encouragement to people who are ill and find themselves struggling while uncovering the mystery of chronic disease."

"Once I started to uncover the mystery of chronic Lyme disease and the stigma around it, I felt a strong sense of obligation towards the millions of people suffering from this debilitating disease to share my journey and to be a voice for those who can't be heard," she explained to The Daily Dish on Thursday.

"I would hope that anyone who watched or knows about my journey will take the time to read Believe Me as I truly hope it will educate and open people's hearts in order to gain a much deeper respect and understanding of this journey," she continued. "The message here is really about how we can learn to be less judgmental and deal with chronically ill people in a more kind, compassionate and understanding way."

Foster's book, Believe Me: My Battle with the Invisible Disability of Lyme Disease, is expected to be released early next year.
