Miranda Kerr announced what many have speculated about over the past week - she is no longer signed with Victoria's Secret, according to Us Weekly.

There were whispers that her three-year contract was not going to be renewed based on her "difficult reputation" and her inability to be a "big seller for VS." However, the Australian beauty revealed that she was not dropped. She confirmed on The Sydney Morning Herald that her departure is just a "natural evolution."

"The thing is, I've been modeling since I was 13. I'm now entering a new phase in my life," Orlando Bloom's wife explained. "I have felt this coming since my son was born and, after I became a mother, I realized I needed to prioritize my time."

And in regards to her being hard to work with, Kerr said, "I'm sure anyone that has worked with me would agree that it's not true."

''It's really important I give 100 percent to my clients and I have to be careful to make strategic long-term decisions with my personal and business interests," she emphasized. "I've reached a point in my career where I'm developing my own opportunities that are really reflective of my passions."

Kerr went on to make it clear that she has other less time-consuming projects in the works, which would have conflicted with carrying a "full contract" with Victoria's Secret.

With her 30th birthday approaching on April 20th, Kerr is focusing on new projects such as the release of her second book, Empower Yourself; her skin care line, Kora Organics, and campaigns for Quantas, Mango and others. In addition to having more free time with her 2-year-old son Flynn, the model said she's looking forward to seeing her husband perform in Romeo and Juliet on Broadway in the next few weeks.
