FBI Releases Photos & VIDEO FOOTAGE Of Two Suspects Carrying Backpacks Prior To Boston Marathon Bombings
On Thursday, law enforcement officials released two clear video images of the two suspects in the Boston Marathon bombings, and plead for public assistance in bringing them to justice.
CNN reported on the video footage, which clearly shows two male individuals carrying black bags at the sites of the explosion.
The two were seen walking together close to the finish line of the marathon prior to the explosions igniting that resulted in the deaths of three people and about 180 injuries.
One of the two males could be witnessed putting down a backpack at scene of the second bombing, stated Agent Rick DesLauriers, head of the FBI's Boston office.
DesLauriers said that the general public should refrain from interaction with the suspects, saying that they should be considered armed and "extremely dangerous."
The press conference came on a day when President Barack Obama spoke at the city's Cathedral of the Holy Cross.
"Every one of us stands with you. Boston may be your hometown - but we claim it, too. ...For millions of us, what happened on Monday is personal," the President said.
"Yes, we will find you. And yes, you will face justice. We will hold you accountable."
Not wanting to lett fear get into the hearts of the great city of Boston, President Obama predicted that the tragedy-stricken city will run even harder and stronger for its 118th marathon next year.
