Best GameStop Deals: Awesome PS3, Xbox 360 And Wii Bundle Available For $160 [VIDEO]
GameStop has just announced arguably one of the sweetest console deals ever, offering the entire 7th generation lineup of gaming machines from Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo for a really reasonable price of $160. That's right, $160 would rake in a PlayStation 3 160GB Slim, an Xbox 360 White and a Nintendo Wii.
Though the offer only applies for pre-owned consoles, and is only available for customers shopping online, the deal is nonetheless very notable. After all, even pre-owned consoles do not usually sell this cheap. For one, Best Buy still sells pre-owned PS3 160GB Slim for $160, the same amount as the three consoles GameStop is offering.
The deal does not only involve the units themselves, too. Each of the consoles come with a controller. The Xbox 360 White even comes with a free 20GB external hard drive bonus. Indeed, this current deal from GameStop is one of the best console promotions that have been offered lately. Prices simply do not usually go this low.
Unsurprisingly, shipping for the console bundle deal would not be free. Standard shipping, which takes about four to seven business days, costs $8. For those trying to make it to the 4th of July weekend, expedited shipping is also available, though it would cost a pretty hefty $16. Then again, with the consoles themselves costing practically just $53.33 each, spending a little extra for faster shipping seems pretty much worth it.
As the console market prepares for a new generation of gaming machines from Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo, retailers such as GameStop and Groupon have been offering attractive deals on previous and current generation consoles. Currently, Groupon is offering a refurbished PlayStation 4 for only $280, arguably the lowest asking price for the machine to date.
The Xbox One has also received some interesting offers as of late, with retailers offering an Xbox One Kinect bundle for only $229, far less than its original price when the console was initially released.
