Dragon Ball Xenoverse was arguably one of the best game adaptations of a popular manga and anime franchise. Featuring a unique and expansive plot that gives the player a lot of control over what happens in the game's universe, Xenoverse became such as big hit, its sequel was practically a no-brainer.

While rumors and details about Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 have been going on for a while, much of the game's specifics have still remained a mystery to fans. Recently, however, the game's official release date was revealed, with the game set for a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release on Oct. 25. The PC version of the game would be released a few days after, on Oct. 28.

With brand new characters and races to choose from and explore, there is much that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has to offer. Apart from a wider set of characters and unique gameplay elements, however, a recent announcement has confirmed that even the game's soundtrack would be getting a very interesting boost.

According to recent reports, popular DJ Steve Aoki would be providing some special tracks for the upcoming game. Most notably, the DJ is rumored to be contributing remixes for popular Dragon Ball tracks such as Cha-La-Head-Cha-La and We Gotta Power. Apart from contributing tracks to the upcoming game, the DJ is also said to be making an appearance in the game itself, as an NPC.

With recent announcements in mind, it would seem like Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is shaping up to be a successful game even before it would be released. Fans of the franchise, in particular, are looking forward to the game's improvements over the first Xenoverse title.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is speculated to explore the Bardock saga from Dragon Ball Z up to the very popular Future Trunks timeline. The main character of the upcoming game, which is speculated to be a member of the Time Patrol, is also expected to have the ability to infiltrate events in the past, thereby affecting history.

Indeed, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 seems to be a game that fans of the hyper-popular franchise must not miss.
