Corey Simms' wife, Miranda, addressed the West Virginia floods on her Twitter page last week.

Following a slew of posts from Simms' first wife, Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer, Miranda shared a statement with her fans and followers on Twitter.

After the devastation in West Virginia occurred, Messer shared numerous posts on Instagram, encouraging her fans to donate to victims. Messer also registered as a volunteer in the area to help those affected by the floods.

"#WVStrong #HellorHIGHwater," Messer wrote on Instagram in June.

Also on Twitter recently, Miranda Simms spoke of her role in her daughter's life, as well as her step-mother role to Messer's twins, Ali and Aleeah, 6.

During the recently aired seventh season of Teen Mom 2, Miranda was accused of treating Ali unfairly by forcing her to carry a heavy backpack. However, Miranda later responded to the accusation, claiming she is only unable to help Ali, who suffers from muscular dystrophy, when her hands are full with her youngest daughter, 8-month-old Remi, and other items.

“I always try to carry Ali’s backpack for her,” Miranda explained to MTV News. “I would never try to do any harm to the children or create any kind of task that I know Ali cannot do... I’m not saying how she felt was wrong — her feelings are important. I just hope that we can move on, and I hope that the girls feel comfortable no matter where they are at one time.”
