Uruguayan player Luis Suarez went back to his old tricks on Sunday when he was caught biting his opponent Branislav Ivanovic during the match Liverpool vs Chelsea at the Premier League on Sunday.

The incident happened in the second half of the match. Suarez and Ivanovic were in the Chelsea penalty area when Suarez grabbed Ivanovic's arm and bit him. Ivanovic is seen pushing Suarez' head away and complaining to the referee.

Suarez has admitted to the incident and apologized.

"I have tried to contact Branislav Ivanovic to speak to him personally, " Suarez told the BBC.

"I apologize also to my manager, playing colleagues and everyone at Liverpool for letting them down," he added.

Suarez remained in the game and later scored a goal to a 2-2 draw with Chelsea.

The 26-year-old Uruguayan player has been banned in the past for biting player Otman Bakkal in 2010. At the time, he was suspended for seven matches.
