One star of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta has decided to leave the show just after rumors swirled that the entire cast was getting the axe.
While some of the co-stars made it clear they weren’t going anywhere, newcomer D. Smith had a different take and revealed to Bossip’s Don’t Be Scared that there will be no return for another round.

Smith’s debut marked the first for a transgender cast member on the show. And from feuding with Tammy Rivera, rapper Waka Flocka and Lil Scrappy, the drama might have been too much to handle.

“I barely made it through this season,” Smith told the site. “They barely got me on the first season, there was a whole month where Betty [Idol] and I weren’t on there because I quit the show in the middle of the season. I was uncomfortable with the dialogue. I don’t foresee me being on another season.”

Smith, who never watched an episode of the show, made it a point to steer clear of anymore drama.

“I’ve never even seen an episode, not one. I don’t read comments. I stay clear away from my social media. I have amazing things going on in my life and I’m super happy.”

As for the beef with Waka Flocka and his family, Smith had a few words to say about his mother, Debra Antney who said Smith is not a good representative for the transgender community.

“This is coming from someone whose son is named Waka Flocka. That doesn’t hurt me. It only discredits her judgement. At the end of the day I know what I have to bring to the table so it’s not to her that I have to prove. If she dies right now what is her legacy? I don’t know anyone in the studio that says, ‘In the next 10 years I wanna be Ms. Deb!’”
