GOP Convention 2016 Watch Online: How To Live Stream Event Featuring Trump, Cruz & More [VIDEO]
The 2016 GOP Convention has finally arrived, and you can watch the whole shebang go down live online.
Monday, July 18 is the beginning of the GOP Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, where party leaders, delegates, journalists and probably more than a few protestors will convene to discuss the key issues of the Republican party going forward. Of course, with an unpredictable presidential candidate like Donald Trump leading the convention, things will likely be even more chaotic than usual.
The excitement begins at 7:50 p.m. ET on Monday, with headlining speakers that include Melania Trump, retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, Iowa Sen. Joni Ernst, Montana Rep. Ryan Zinke, and Concerned Veterans of America advisor Jason Beardsley.
Other Monday speakers include Duck Dynasty star Willie Robertson, former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, actor Scott Baio, Sen. Tom Cotton, Sen. Jeff Sessions, Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
The theme of Monday's proceedings is "Make America Safe Again". As the GOP Convention website states: "From attacks on our own soil and overseas to the tragedy in Benghazi, the policies of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have left us vulnerable. Our immigration system is broken, leaving our country open to security threats and the negative consequences of illegal immigration. A Donald Trump administration will listen to and learn from our nation's heroes who have put themselves in harm's way and pursue a national security strategy and foreign policy that will strengthen our military and make America safe again."
Speakers on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday include Sen. Ted Cruz, Sen. Marco Rubio, Gov. Chris Christie, House Speaker Paul Ryan, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus and Donald Trump, himself.
There are multiple ways to watch the GOP Convention from start to finish. One way is to download the RNC app, which provides an official live stream of the entire convention. Twitter has also partnered with CBS News to provide a live stream.
