'The Real' Talk Show: Loni Love Gives Update On Tamar Braxton, Are They Still Feuding?
Tamar now former co-host Loni Love has given an update on where she stands with the ladies two months after Braxton was fired from The Real.
Interestingly enough, Loni is still the only one who has spoken out publicly about the daytime talk show’s decision to fire Braxton despite its success.
She revealed to Page Six Tuesday that she still has yet to speak to Braxton.
“I have not spoken with her recently,” she said. “None of the girls have spoken to her recently – we’ve reached out, but we haven’t heard from her. People just want time. You can’t badger them or make them talk, it’s understandable.”
Still, Loni has received lots of backlash after she was said to be the reason Braxton was let go. It was also rumored that Loni knew Braxton would be fired. Loni also spoke on those rumors.
“The studio is responsible, they’re making the decisions. They’re making the decisions. It’s not ad ecision any of the co-hosts can make. [The producers] are weighing their options… I’m pretty sure that come August they’ll have a better idea.”
While Loni has said the other ladies haven’t spoken to Braxton, it was said that Adrienne Bailon attended Braxton’s son’s birthday party this summer. Tamera Mowry-Housley and Braxton were also spotted on a plane together earlier this month.
As for the remaining ladies, Loni said they all still get along great.
“Tamera and I live really close, she just recently had the baby so I always go there and see the kids. Adrienne is our party-thrower but she’s in and out [of the area] so when she’s in New York we always go to her house. Jeannie likes to go out too. I don’t have a problem hanging out with any of my co-hosts, but I do like to give them space and time to their friends and family outside of work, too.”
The Real is currently on hiatus so the co-hosts haven’t taped any new episodes since Braxton was let go. It will return this fall for its third season.
