Michael Schumacher Health Improving? Latest Rumors Suggest Legendary F1 Racer Is Finally Responding To Family [VIDEO]
Since his near-fatal accident back in December 2013, Michael Schumacher's family has kept the progress of his recovery very private. While details about his actual health status remain very little to this day, rumors have emerged stating that the legendary F1 driver is finally making a little progress towards his recovery.
According to a previous report by writer Giorgio Terruzi, Schumacher has finally started responding to his family members. The writer further stated that Schumacher cries silently when he hears his children and family nearby. Though the F1 driver's reaction is quite minimal, it does, nonetheless, show that he could at least listen and respond to those around him.
"He cries when he hears his children, his wife's voice, his dogs. In the silence of that room, a tear runs down his thin face at a known sound," Terruzi stated.
Considering the extreme privacy that the Schumacher family has asked for, however, Terruzi's report could not be fully verified. What could be verified, however, is the financial toll that the legendary driver's health care is giving his family.
Since coming out of a coma and moving back to his home for further treatment, Schumacher's family has allegedly spent approximately 20 million pounds for his rehabilitation. Nevertheless, with top brands such as Mercedes still supporting him, the F1 driver's finances have taken less of a toll than it should have.
During the course of his storied career, Schumacher had reportedly accumulated about $800 million. Thus, even his weekly treatments, which are rumored to be costing the family about $140,000 a week, could easily be handled by the money he has earned over his years as an F1 driver.
Plus, his affiliations with top car brands have continued despite his accident, allowing him to earn money for his family despite being in recovery.
Despite very little details being released to the public, Schumacher's fans have not lost faith in the notion that one day, the legendary F1 driver will be able to walk again.
