Hawaii Five-0's Doris McGarrett is no longer missing in action.

Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) reunited with his mother in the final moment of season 2, but Doris' (Christine Lahti) homecoming didn't last long. After a series of appearances in the 2012-2013 season, the CIA asset took her show on the road once more. As season 7 unfolds, however, viewers can expect to see Lahti's character take the screen once more.

"I am coming back to H 5-0! Thanks!" Lahti told eager fans on Monday.

Showrunner Peter Lenkov confirmed the announcement early this morning.

"And thank you for saying YES," the EP replied.

Doris' return comes just as the Wo Fat storyline heats up once more. Steve's adoptive brother and the scourge of Oahu bit the dust back in season 5, and while the boys' mother didn't appear during their final battle, the debut of Dae Won (Sung Kang) will probably bring her in from the cold.

"It's going to be a part of a story next year. It's something bigger in mind, but I had to plant it in there at the end," Lenkov said of Dae Won's introduction, according to Entertainment Weekly. "Danny says, 'He called you all the way there just to forgive you?' You're going to realize it's more than what happened in that meeting. It's not like McGarrett's hiding anything, it's more what Wo-Fat's father has in mind."
