Steve McGarrett better make sure his stitches are out before he heads back to work. Hawaii Five-0 will kick off season 7 with a rooftop chase scene, and Oahu's newest flight risk is downright fearless.

Alex O'Loughlin (McGarrett), Scott Caan (Danny), Grace Park (Kono), and Daniel Dae Kim returned to set following the Fourth of July festivities, stepping in front of the cameras for season 7. It's been a long hiatus, but now that the squad is back in action, fans can check out the latest updates. From premiere titles to behind-the-scenes stunt videos, series creator Peter Lenkov is ready to get fans psyched.

"Every year we try to outdo ourselves on #H50 - looks like this year the challenge is met," Lenkov teased. "Here's a tiny taste from the premiere..."

The EP followed that video with another from the same sequence, this time showing the rooftop sprinter making a rather unconventional ingress.

The footage is all pulled from the premiere, which will air Sept. 23 at 9 p.m. ET. Lenkov revealed the episode's Hawaiian title on Independence Day, but the writer didn't provide a translation. According to the Honolulu Star Advertiser, "Mākaukau ʻoe e Pāʻani" can be translated to "Ready to Play," although other transliterations can apply.

 Happy 4th from #H50
