Both nominees for eviction in the Big Brother 18 house have been assured that they are safe, but one of them clearly isn't.

Head of Household: Paul Abrahamian

Nominees: Bridgette Dunning and Da'Vonne Rogers

Other houseguests: Corey Brooks, James Huling, Michelle Meyer, Natalie Negrotti, Nicole Franzel, Paulie Calafiore, Victor Arroyo and Zakiyah Everette

The Veto ceremony was conducted on Monday in the Big Brother house and as always, it was blacked out for feed watchers. However, when the feeds came back on, it was very apparent that Veto winner Paulie had taken himself off the block and Paul had nominated Da'Vonne in his place.

Da'Vonne was mostly calm throughout Monday though the look on her face was that of restrained anger. She asked Zakiyah about if she would be safe this week, and Zakiyah assured her that she would be. Michelle, another close ally of Da'Vonne's, mostly told her the same thing. Da'Vonne asked Paul about his decision and he suggested that he wanted to nominate someone next to Bridgette who wouldn't freak out, considering she's been on the block before.

Paul was obviously lying about his intentions for nominating Da'Vonne, and Da'Vonne seemed rather suspicious herself, but they ended the conversation on amicable terms.

While it was a quiet night overall in the house, Da'Vonne was busy trying to think of votes to keep her. She trusts that Michelle and Zakiyah will keep her, and thinks she can get James and Natalie too. The only issue is finding another person to vote to keep her. This is looking more and more unlikely, though, as Paulie, Victor, Corey and Nicole all want her out of the house badly. Even if Da'Vonne is able to get the vote to a tie, Paul would break the tie as HOH and send her home.

Unless there's a huge last-minute attempt to save her, like the week Tiffany was saved and Bronte went home instead, there's very little hope left for Da'Vonne. But of course, there's always the Roundtrip ticket.

Big Brother 18 returns Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
