Miranda Lambert Willin Lyrics: Anderson East Girlfriend Sings At CMA Fest [VIDEO]
Miranda Lambert performed the 1970 Little Feat hit "Willin" to a packed crowd at the CMA Music Festival earlier this week.
As rumors continued to swirl in regard to the 32-year-old country singer's possible plans to start a family with boyfriend Anderson East, Miranda Lambert took to the stage where she delivered an emotional performance of the classic track.
“And I been from Tuscon to Tucumcari / Tehachapi to Tonapah / Driven every kind of rig that’s ever been made / Driven the back roads / So I wouldn’t get weighed / And if you give me weed, whites, and wine / And then you show me a sign / I’ll be willin’ to be movin’,” Lambert sang to the crowd, according to a report by Taste of Country on Thursday.
Also this week, Lambert opened up about her upcoming album and the honesty she poured into each track.
“I’m nervous as hell,” she told Billboard. “I’ve been hunkered down for a year writing, recording, trying to live a normal life and getting ready for a new album. No one’s heard from me. I’ve been pretty silent all this time. And now that I’m coming with a song, it does make me nervous, and I hope that people are respectful of it and understand what I’ve been doing. But I’ve never hidden anything or tried to be too mysterious. I’m pretty straightforward in my music. I always have been, and that hasn’t changed. With my songwriting, it’s taking a journey with what’s been going on in my everyday life -- good, bad, ugly and everything in between. I feel like the right thing to do was just come out with something really honest.”
