Olympics Day 1 Live Stream: How To Watch Women's Soccer, Men's Basketball & More Online [VIDEO]
Day 1 of the Rio Olympics has officially kicked off, and you can watch the whole day through live streaming if you can't view it on television.
Coverage of the Rio Olympics began early, with the following events currently underway as of this publishing time:
-Rowing - Day 1: Heats
-Archery - Men's team Round of 16
-Table tennis - Day 1 morning session
-Table tennis - Day 1 morning session Table 2: Singles
-Water polo - Men's group, Serbia vs. Hungary
-Fencing - Blue piste: Women's individual epee Rounds of 64, 42, 16 and Quarterfinals
-Handball - Women's Olympic group phase: Norway vs. Brazil
-Volleyball - Women's Group A: Japan vs. South Korea
-Field Hockey - Men's Pool B: Argentina vs. Netherlands
-Judo - Women's 48kg, men's 60kg eliminations: Mat 1
-Equestrian - Day 1 Eventing individual and team dressage
-Beach volleyball - Men's, Carambula/Rangheri (ITA) vs. Doppler/Horst (AUT)
-Water polo - Men's group B: United States vs. Croatia
As for other highlights for the United States teams scheduled for Day 1, you'll want to tune in to the following games:
-Women's soccer at 4 p.m. ET - the U.S. (notable players include Hope Solo and Alex Morgan) will battle France
-Men's basketball at 6 p.m. ET - the U.S. team, comprised of such greats as Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, will take on China
-Men's gymnastics at 1:30 p.m. ET - America's team includes Sam Mikulak, Jake Dalton and Alex Naddour, all of which will be hoping to qualify for the various finals
NBC is hosting Rio Olympics coverage all day on its main channel, which sister channels like NBCSN, MSNBC, USA and Bravo are expected to air events during the afternoon.
