'Fast And Furious 8' Cast: Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Comes For Male Co-stars [VIDEO]
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is not happy with some of his Fast & Furious 8 co-stars.
The cast is slated to wrap filming soon and The Rock wanted to let fans in on a little bit of drama that is going on behind-the-scenes.
He shared a video of himself raging on set Monday. And while that isn’t necessarily anything new for the former pro wrestler, his caption is what caused him to make headlines.
“This is my final week of shooting #FastAndFurious8,” he wrote. “There’s no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one. An incredible hard working crew. UNIVERSAL has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love em.”
He went on to say he can’t say the same about guys that he works with.
“My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken s*** to do anything about it anyway. Candy a***s.”
Still, he said he was able to channel his anger into his character, which could be a good thing for fans of the franchise.
“When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not actin gin some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling – you’re right. Bottom line is it’ll play great for the movie and fits this Hobbs character that’s embedded in my DNA extremely well. The producer in me is happy about this part… Final week on FAST 8 and I’ll finish strong.”
It’s not clear who The Rock is referring to. But some of the other men who star in the franchise are Tyrese, Ludacris, and Vin Diesel. This is also the first of the franchise that will not feature star Paul Walker, who passed away in a tragic car accident in November of 2013. See The Rock’s message below. WARNING: Explicit Language
