'Star Trek Into Darkness' Spoilers: Newest TRAILER Reveals Harrison Wreaking Havoc On Spock & London [WATCH]
To the excitement of its fans, new Star Trek Into Darkness promo material has hit the Internet. Only this time it's by way of the Japanese trailer that is one minute in length.
The short teaser reveals one of the flick's action sequences and another part of the footage featuring John Harrison (Benedict Cumberbatch) making threats toward Spock (Zachary Quinto).
The respective footage showcases one of the first major set pieces in Into Darkness, as Harrison is witnessed wreaking havoc on London. Shots are seen of Kirk (Chris Pine) diving through space, Spock in a volcano, Harrison with a vicious grin, and the Enterprise in a compromising position.
Another snippet of the upcoming movie was taken from a chase scene that involved Spock, Kirk, Uhura (Zoe Saldana) and other Enterprise crew members, as they escape a pursuing spacecraft by the skin of their teeth.
However, not too much information on the storyline is revealed thus far, but the film will also be shot in 3D.
In a viral promo video, Harrison could be seen getting a psychological profile for Spock in his typical menacing way, which could very well indicate that the latter is on some sort of a dramatic and emotional journey, according to Screen Rant.
The site also reported that respective clip may insinuate that a member of the Enterprise crew will have to make an unideal sacrifice for the others.
Star Trek Into Darkness is set to be released on the big screen on May 17. However, its 3D/IMAX version will launch in select theaters on May 15. The Japanese trailer can be viewed below.
