He knows that despite appearances his bride-to-be's family is scheming in every way they possibly can to make sure their wedding doesn't happen, and in an effort to make sure he's the one who comes out on top, Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) will set some schemes in motion to make sure he can outplay Victor (Eric Braden), Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) on The Young and the Restless.

Everyone did express their concerns to Summer (Hunter King) about her wedding plans, but in the end they all agreed to support her, something which made her happy. However, behind her back, her parents and grandfather have been working to find anything they can to prove that Luca is no good, so they can stop the wedding before it happens. Luca however is no stranger to knowing that they aren't actually accepting him into their family, and will begin to make some plans of his own to protect himself.

However, as he schemes, the way he's acting could start to make Summer a little suspicious of her future husband as well, and she will demand to know if he's hiding anything from her.

"You know I love you," he says in a preview clip for the Monday, August 15 episode.

"You're keeping something from me," she replies.

He will then work to assure her he isn't, and when she is satisfied and leaves, he will begin working on his plan, which involves Victoria's (Amelia Heinle) old flame Travis (Michael Roark).

Meanwhile, Nick's digging to find something useful on Luca hasn't turned up what he hoped yet, but he may be able to report to Phyllis and Victor with something else concerning the Newman Pil Crisis that could at least put more doubt in Summer's mind about her fiance.

"You found something that proves that Luca's behind it?" Phyllis asks in the clip.

"I found something," Nick admits. "It wasn't what I was looking for."

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
