Selena Gomez Sued Over Perfume
Selena Gomez has just been sued by a perfume company that claims that the star did not live up to her contract.
Adrenalina Inc. filed a lawsuit claiming that Gomez entered a deal with the company in which they would use her to sell their perfume. The company said it did tons of R & D, spending more than $2 million in marketing alone. However, Gomez never lent her support to the fragrance.
"The company claims Selena and her agent concocted B.S. reasons to end the relationship, leaving Adrenalina without a spokesperson," TMZ reported.
"Selena allegedly refused to show up for promotions and it screwed with the company."
Adrenalina is suing for damages. They also want a court to prevent Gomez from pulling out of the project. The 20 -year old's lawyer issued a statement denying the allegations.
"Any claim that Selena did not meet her promotional obligations is ridiculous, manufactured after Adrenalina was terminated," Michael Weinsten said.
"Selena will vigorously defend this lawsuit, and will soon bring her own lawsuit against Adrenalina for millions in damages."
The lawsuit may be a professional blow for the Come & Get It singer, but her personal fortunes have been improving. She and Justin Bieber have given their relationship another chance. It came as a surprise to many since it was believed that Gomez would trash him on her new album. She denied that claim on Elvis Duran and the Morning Show on April 24.
"I did record a song because it's about the subject I went through, but it's beautiful. If you're going to do it, that's the best way," she said.
" Giving it to the fans and you have control over it, opposed to someone spinning the story."
Gomez recently visited the Baby crooner in Norway but an April 26 Instagram left no more doubts about their status. Bieber uploaded a picture of the two cuddling.
The caption read, "'You've been makin music for too long babe come cuddle' - her".
"The most interesting part? This photo does not look like it was taken recently, as Justin is missing many of his freshest tattoos," Hollywood Life reported.
"We wonder what message he is trying to send by reminiscing about a previous era of his relationship with Selena!
