The report filed against Chris Brown for recklessly driving around his neighborhood has apparently been dropped.

Back in May, Brown was reported for driving his ATV around his Tarzana, Calif. neighborhood with a friend. A neighbor called police to complain about Brown and his friend racing their ATVs up and down the street, and which point Brown apparently did doughnuts with the all-terrain vehicle on his lawn.

"We had a citizen complain about two males in the area, riding ATVs, at high rate of speed through the alleys," said LAPD's Sgt. James Harper at the time. "The citizen saw a person he recognized as Chris Brown in the area. At that point, he came on to his property, did a couple of doughnuts on his front lawn . . . The citizen asked him, 'Hey knock that off, quit it.' At that time we had a couple of obscenities thrown at him by Chris Brown. And then he took off down the street to his house."

A report was filed by officers, but it has just been revealed by TMZ this week that Brown won't be facing charges. The case has apparently been dropped, despite Sgt. Harper's previously comments about the singer's actions.

"Obviously we don't want citizens riding on the streets with all-terrain vehicles at a high rate of speed with no helmet and endangering some of the patrons that could be in the area," Harper said in May.

Brown has been doing well with law enforcement lately, as he also recently won in his custody case against his ex, Nia Guzman, for their child, Royalty. Guzman had requested full custody as well as some other requests against Brown - all of which were denied by the judge.

The singer has kept quiet on social media about his various run-ins with the law. It's not clear if he will appear at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday on MTV, but he is nominated for Breakthrough Long-Form Video for his video "Royalty".
