Rihanna will apparently be pulling off some must-see TV at the 2016 VMAs on Sunday.

Rihanna is set to win the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the VMAs, honoring lifetime achievement in music videos. Acceptance speeches for this award have traditionally been memorable in the past, from Lady Gaga dressed as a man to present Britney Spears her award to Kanye West going on an epic monologue that concluded with him proclaiming he's running for president in 2020.

Now, Rihanna intends to make her own memorable moment, according to VMA executive producer Jesse Ignjatovic.

"I'm really excited because she's taken this opportunity to inject her own creativity into it," Ignjatovic told Entertainment Weekly recently. "If we're talking on Monday the 29th or after the show Sunday, everyone will be surprised with what she's done to make this honor her own and something that's extremely impactful."

Rihanna is set to perform a medley of "the biggest tracks of her career" plus music from her most recent album, Anti.

"I can tell you it's going to be one of those holy crap VMA moments," Ignjatovic teased. "She's not playing. She's bringing it."

The Barbadian singer has a long history with the VMAs, performing many times over the past few years. She has also won the award for Video of the Year twice - one was in 2007 for "Umbrella" and the other was in 2012 for "We Found Love". She is one of only two artists to accomplish this feat, with Eminem being the other.

Other artists slated to perform at this year's VMAs include Britney Spears and G-Eazy, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj, Nick Jonas and Ty Dolla $ign, Future, and The Chainsmokers and Halsey. Pre-show performers include Alessia Cara, Jidenna and Lukas Graham.

The 2016 MTV VMAs will take place live Sunday at 9/8c on MTV.
