VMAs Best Male Video 2016: Calvin Harris Beats Drake & Kanye West At MTV Award Ceremony [VIDEO]
The award for Best Male Video was given to Calvin Harris at this year's VMAs.
Harris, won the award for his "This Is What You Came For" music video. He beat out Drake's "Hotline Bling", Bryson Tiller's "Don't", The Weeknd's "Can't Feel My Face" and Kanye West's "Famous".
Harris was not present to accept the award for Best Male Video, but he did give a video message in which he thanked featured singer Rihanna, who called a "superstar" and all the fans who supported "This Is What You Came For".
This is Harris' Bryson Tiller, The Weeknd's] first win for Best Male Video.
Drake's previous nominations included "Find Your Love" in 2010 and "Take Care" feat. Rihanna in 2012.
This was Tiller's first nomination for Best Male Video. It was The Weeknd's second nomination, after last year's "Earned It".
West's previous nominations included "All Falls Down" feat. Syleena Johnson in 2004, "Jesus Walks" in 2005, "Gold Digger" feat. Jamie Foxx in 2006, a solo artist nomination in 2007, "Love Lockdown" in 2009 and "All of the Lights" feat. Rihanna and Kid Cudi in 2011.
