Future VMA Performance 2016 VIDEO: Watch Rapper Perform 'Commas' At Madison Square Garden
Future made his VMAs debut Sunday night, performing his song "F--- Up Some Commas" to a roaring crowd.
Olympian Michael Phelps introduced Future by stating he was listening to his song "Stick Talk" during that famous "PhelpsFace" meme. However, Future performed another song, 'F--- Up Some Commas", in an all-red ensemble and had the whole crowd going.
Since his 2012 studio album debut Pluto, Future has steadily grown in popularity, with such singles as "Move That Dope", "Turn On the Lights", "Where Ya At", "Jumpman" and "Low Life". Future just released the single "Too Much Sauce" from his latest mixtape, Project E.T.
Future has never been nominated for a VMA though he does have rich awards success. He was nominated for Top Rap Album and Top Rap Artist at the Billboard Music Awards this year. He also won Best Group with Drake at this year's BET Awards. The rapper has a slew of nominations at the BET Hip Hop Awards, including MVP of the Year, Best Live Performer, Hustler of the Year and the Made-You-Look Award.
