The police are still nowhere near figuring out that one of their own is actually the killer they are trying to find, but as new evidence begins to build which could help them solve the case, the person who has been committing murder could be making plans to take out their next target on General Hospital.

Paul (Richard Burgi) has actually been the one behind the hospital killings, though his motive is unknown, and he had plans to take out Monica (Leslie Charleson) during the hospital blackout, but was stopped by his plans when Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) saw him in Monica's office, and he pushed her down the stairs as a precaution to make sure that if she saw him holding a syringe, she didn't report it. Now though, as he feels some of the freedom he initially had disappearing as the walls start to close in, he will once again focus his intentions of Monica, or perhaps someone else, and could finally take out his last victim.

"I have one last person on my mission, and she just walked in," he says in a preview clip for the Tuesday, September 13 episode.

Meanwhile, the concerns of a killer running around the hospital are starting to take its toll on the facility, and those who are in charge of running it are starting to worry that they need to prepare for the repercussions of the killer not yet being discovered.

"The hospital might be closed by tomorrow," Tracy (Jane Elliott) says to Sabrina (Teresa Castillo) in the clip.

However, the police are still working on the case, hoping to find some link that will finally point them in the direction of the killer, and now, Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) will enlist Andre's (Anthony Montgomery) help in trying to figure out the connection between all the victims and other targets, to see if there is something that will help them finally solve the case.

"What did we miss, is there a pattern here?" Nathan (Ryan Paevey) asks in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
