'General Hospital' (GH) Spoilers: Elizabeth's Medical Emergency Forces Secret About Hayden To Be Revealed? [VIDEO]
She was on the mend until her spleen ruptured, and now, she is in a genuine fight for her life, and Elizabeth's (Rebecca Herbst) medical emergency could require a long buried secret about her and her enemy Hayden (Rebecca Budig), who is accused of pushing her down the stairs and causing her problems in the first place, to be revealed on General Hospital.
With the surgery for her spleen going on, a major problem has arisen, where there isn't enough of Elizabeth's blood type in storage for the blood transfusions she needs, and Franco (Roger Howarth) may need to reveal what he's learned when Griffin (Matt Cohen) goes to him with the grim news.
"There is more hemorrhaging than expected. Elizabeth needs more blood," he says in a preview clip for the Thursday, September 8 episode.
Though he and Jason (Billy Miller) both already volunteered to give blood, if they aren't a match then the situation won't help. But since Franco knows Hayden is really Elizabeth's half-sister, there's a good chance she is a match and may be the help that's needed.
Meanwhile, Hayden is still sitting at the PCPD for questioning in Elizabeth's attack, as she is the main suspect due to the fight the two had moments before it happened. However, there are people who are trying to prove she is innocent working for her in Finn (Michael Easton) and Curtis (Donnell Turner), and as they try to figure out some way they can get her released, Naomi (Robin Ryker) may be forced to spill the secret about Hayden's real father to Finn as well.
"Hayden did not attack Elizabeth," she cries in the clip.
Hayden herself however is becomign resigned to the fact that she will likely be headed to jail, even though she knows she actually didn't commit the crime, and may admit to someone that she doesn't think there is any hope for her to get out of this situation.
"I don't think that I can get out of this," she says in the clip.
General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
