Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman Split? New Reports Couple's Marriage Is Over After Admission About Nasty Fights? [VIDEO]
They've celebrated 10 years of marriage together and have proven over and over again that their marriage seems to be far from troubled, but that isn't stopping a new round of split rumors from circling Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's marriage.
Following the reappearance of comments Urban made in an interview with Hits Magazine back in July, where he admitted that he and Kidman did have some dark moments in the beginning of their marriage, and his not being by his wife's side during her recent appearances at the Toronto International Film Festival, new reports have circled that claim their marriage is once again in trouble.
In the interview, Urban admitted that when he and Kidman had some tough times and had trouble understanding one another, their fights would end with him leaving the house and speeding off to get away from the drama.
"A lot of those really simple, tough lines in 'The Fighter' are straight from early in my relationship with Nic. I had such a learning curve in our marriage!" He said at the time. "When she'd get scared, I'd think she was angry; then I'd get defensive, go tearing out the driveway at 90 miles an hour. And that's when it all gets pear-shaped. What she needs, and it's all in the song, is for me to stay, to be close, to hear her. Get Closer: the album title alone was literally from this new awareness I had with this reality of how to react. When thungs are tough or upsetting, it's about pulling her close. That's what she needs, and I had to learn it."
With those comments resurfacing, and Kidman promoting her movie Lion at TIFF, without her husband by her side, rumors are now spinning out of control about the couple finally planning to divorce and being over.
However, the reports are likely untrue, because while Kidman was in Toronto for her film, Urban has been on the other side of Canada for his current Ripcord World Tour, which has more tour dates in Calgary, Edmonton and Saskatoon, before it moves to Australia, and then the United States. With a busy tour schedule, he was likely unable to take time off to join his wife in Toronto.
