‘Pokemon Go’ News and Updates:Effects of Randomized Nests
"Pokemon Go" has recently been updated causing a few crucial changes to the game. Also, the addition of randomized nests has a huge effect especially for those who love cheats.
Creators of the "Pokemon Go" just made hunting a lot more adventurous. As an alternative to the usual hunting grounds where Pokemons are frequently seen, the new update for the game obliges players to stretch their muscles even more.
This time, Pokemon hunters have no choice but to travel to new destinations to catch the pocket monsters, reported Game N Guide. Pokemon Nests are relocated to new areas, the process known as migration. Even rare nests are moved to new places.
With the new update, there are more than 900 brand new nests included to the atlas and more than 50,000 nest locations around world. Following the migration, Seel has become the most ordinary nest and there are around 60 distinctive species of Pokemon, which are nesting.
The migration came with an update that has completely randomized the spawn system. On the other hand, this did not affect the rarity of the pocket monsters at all. What it did affect though is the species of the Pokemon which can be caught nearest to the player.
For instance, Charizard is usually spawned near the player's location. However, with the migration, the new species spawned could be Squirtle, instead.
With this new migration update, it was told by Ecumenical News that the randomized nesting has made it more difficult for players to cheat. How is this possible?
For example, a Pokemon Go trainer visits a nest that spawns a Pidgeotto. Previously, all the trainer does to evolve the said pocket monster is to go to that location frequently to catch more of the species. However, because of the randomized nest system, a specific location no longer just spawns the same Pokemon, but several different species which is not connected to any that was spawned in the area before.
This prevents players who are fond of cheating to trick their way into the game. With the new "Pokemon Go" migration update, it is an even playing field for every trainer.
