The Samsung Galaxy S8 specifications are being leaked as early as now. Could the company release the rumored flagship earlier than intended?

After the controversy the company has gone through from the controversial Note 7, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is being packed with new features that may make the flagship too good to resist. The University Herald reported that the S8 will be sporting the Exynos 8895, the newest 10nm chipset.

In addition, this upcoming Samsung model will allegedly have Mali-G71 GPU of ARM. This feature is said to be almost two times more powerful than Mali T880. The Korean brand is also working on a 4k screen resolution for this particular flagship. This means that there will be 806 pixels per inch of the screen.

While these important aspects in a smartphone will be upgraded to its finest in the S8, the rumor that the upcoming model is being tapped to contain some virtual reality features may just be what the brand needs to attract all the valued Samsung customers it has lost from the unfortunate Note 7 mishap.

Besides the powerful features mentioned to be found in this yet to be released flagship, there are other specs that will add up to the phone's appeal, as noted by Mobile & Apps. The report suggested that people should expect an octa-core Snapdragon as the phone's possible SoC.

To complement the 4k screen resolution, it is also probable that the smartphone's screen will be at 5.2 inches. It is also being speculated that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will not contain flat screen, but a curved screen design, instead.

To top these features off, consumers should also expect a Coring Gorilla 5.0 glass and a battery capacity higher than previous Galaxy flagships. This specific model might also come equipped with finger print and iris scanners as well as wireless charging.

With all these rumored specifications for the upcoming flagship, the S8 is poised to be the most advanced smartphone when it hits the market. There are no official words yet as to when the product will be made available but fans of Samsung can expect it will be sometime in early 2017.
