‘Steven Universe’ Season 4 Update: Show creator to attend New York Comic Con; Thanksgiving episode already in the works?
"Steven Universe" Season 4 ended with Episode 7 titled "Onion Gang." Many fans think that this is quite odd and are still waiting for any news from the creators.
GameNGuide reported that show creator Rebecca Sugar announced in her Twitter page that she will be attending the New York Comic Con next week. Many believe that Sugar will make some announcements regarding the show and if Episode 7 will be the last episode for the season.
In Episode 7, Onion introduced Steven to hiss new friends after inviting him in the woods. The episode looked like it was the beginning of a new storyline for the show and many fans are eager to know what happened next. There are many reports that claim that "Steven Universe" Season 4 will resume by November.
Parent Herald reported that there are some who think that "Steven Universe" will end along with another Cartoon Network show. It was announced that "Adventure Time" will air its final season by 2018. With the hiatus, many fans are thinking that "Steven Universe" will follow the same fate as "Adventure Time."
Meanwhile, The Bitbag reported that the production is currently working on a Thanksgiving episode for the show. It was said that this episode will feature a Thanksgiving event that happened in the past. There are rumors that claim that the episode will be entitled "Gem Harvest" and many fans shared their speculations on a Reddit thread.
On the other hand, there are also reports that claim that Season 4 will introduce a new fusion between Steven and the Gems. In Episode 3, Steven and Connie were able to find the long lost book and fans will also discover the mysteries behind it.
Fans will have to wait for Sugar's panel event next week during the New York Comic Con. She will be at the Hammerstein Ballroom at 311 W 34th Street on Oct. 7 from 11:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m.
