Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) seems to have the perfect life before he messed up in "The Flash" Season 3 premiere episode. The season starts three months after Barry changed history and he seems to be happy with what he has done to his world. Barry has been living his dream life with his family and finally having the courage to ask Iris West (Candice Patton) on a date.

With Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) running around the city, he can now live a normal life. However, things change when his nemesis the Reverse Flash (guest star Matt Letscher) warned him of the serious consequences if he continues to live in this alternate universe.

In the season premiere, Barry starts forgetting about his past and as his memories fade, his powers also starts to diminish. He has to make an important decision if he wants to continue with his perfect life or return to his own universe and be The Flash.

In Episode 2 titled "Paradox", there are speculations that fans will finally see Tom Felton's character. Felton is set to play the role of Julian Albert who will be Barry's new co-worker. In a synopsis featured in Den of Geek, Barry will be surprised by Julian's immediate aloofness for him.

According to Game & Guide, Felton's character will be revealed as a direct consequence of Barry's recent attempt to fix the timeline. There are also possibilities that Julian is an alter ego for a new enemy that Barry will be facing.

Talking to Mashable, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg revealed that in Season 3, Barry will mature in a big way. He will now face the consequences of his actions and becomes an adult. He added that Barry will realize that people make mistakes and as adults, people have to face the ramifications of their actions.

"The Flash" Season 3 Episode 2 will air on The CW on Oct. 11.
