Google Pixel & Pixel XL vs. Apple iPhone 7 & iPhone 7 Plus; Alleged 4K video leaked [WATCH]
During the Made by Google event last week, the company announced that they will be releasing two new smartphones called Google Pixel and Pixel XL. With that, many leaks and speculations about the phones specs has been released online.
According to GameNGuide, because of the massive battery issues of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, many believed that the upcoming Google phones will be the biggest competitors of Apple's iPhones. As reported by Slate Magazine, one of the best features of Google Pixel and Pixel XL is its camera.
Google's Brian Rakowski said that the smart phones have earned a score of 89 in the DxOMark camera grading system. It is currently the highest rated smart phone based on the rankings of the group.
Google Pixel and Pixel XL has a camera that is capable of taking 12.3 megapixel photographs and also a 2.0 opening which can capture more light. It has been said that this is a vast improvement compared to its competition.
Aside from that, the camera also has an HDR+ mode. It enables the user to put together images in order to make the best version of a photograph regardless of the light conditions. It also has a video stabilization system which can let the user smooth videos anywhere.
9to5Google shared a video that is allegedly taken from the Pixel's camera. Aside from taking clear photos, the phone is also capable of taking 4k videos. The video came from a Reddit user who also made a post about the iPhone 7 and 7 plus video qualities. However, Google is yet to confirm that the video is indeed taken with the new smart phone.
As of writing, Pixel and Pixel XL are exclusively being marketed to Verizon. It will also offer a Siri counterpart called Google Assistant. Aside from that, users can now expect unlimited cloud storage for the full-resolution images and videos like the iCloud.
