Selena Gomez Spotted in a Restaurant after Announcing Hiatus; Is She Leaving the Pop World for Good?
Selena Gomez may be on a break from the entertainment industry but that doesn't mean she cannot enjoy a low profile out on the town. The singer-actress was just spotted dining out in a restaurant.
Gomez was seen on a late lunch out in Tennessee on Saturday. According to Perez Hilton, the 24-year-old actress visited a restaurant in the state for a peaceful, laid back evening.
When Selena arrived at the bistro, many diners spotted her rather quickly. One man in particular, tweeted what had happened. Based on the tweet, the guy thought it was just a Selena Gomez look-alike that he saw.
He was seated at the table behind the actress. The tweet posted by Klipnasty said, "There's a girl sitting behind us at Texas Roadhouse that looks just like @selenagomez."
After a while the man realized that it was indeed the singer-actress. He then opted to ask to take some pictures with her, to which Selena gladly obliged. Other fans in the restaurant also took time to say to the famous singer and she greeted them back.
Klipnasty also tweeted to let Selena fans know that she was looking and sounding healthy. At the moment, the "Hands to Myself" singer is on hiatus from her show business life. Gomez wants to concentrate on making herself healthy, both mentally and physically.
The singer-actress was diagnosed with lupus, which is taking its toll on her health. Recently Gomez had to cut short her series of concerts to focus on her health. Thus, she decided to take some time off from her career.
In a recent report by INQUISTR, speculations are flying around that while on break, Selena is trying her hands on creating some singer-songwriter type of music. This is quite a departure from the pop music type fans have heard from her "Revival" album.
A source told that the inspiration to write songs at a deeper level comes from Gomez's writing on her journal. This is something the "Monte Carlo" star is doing as a part of her recuperation process.
