Taco Bell $1 Menu 'Cravings Menu': Beefy, Cheesy, Spicy, Crunchy, Sweet to go Nationwide
If you are worried about paying too much when you head to Taco Bell, your fears may soon be over.
The fast food chain is testing a $1 menu in an attempt to replace the tiered pricing "Why Pay More" menu they currently use, according to Business Insider.
The Mexican food purveyors tested the new menus in two cities during the fall of 2012 as well as in Kansas City, Mo. and Sacramento, Calif. during January.
"At Taco Bell, our value menu is our entire menu," said Taco Bell spokesman Rob Poetsch, according to ABC. "So when consumers are looking for what they get for what they pay - whether it be Fresh Mex with our Cantina Bell Menu, signature beverages or snacks with our Happier Hour Menu, or a dollar menu with our $1 Cravings Menu - Taco Bell can't be beat."
Dubbed the "Cravings Menu," the offerings are split into five categories - Beefy, cheesy, spicy, crunchy, and sweet - according to the Associated Press. Meanwhile, new offerings include a spicy chicken mini quesadilla, a spicy cheese roll up, a beefy cheesy burrito, and spicy potato taco.
According to the Associated Press, the company says that they believe their testing has solidified a menu and they will introduce it nationwide at some point this year.
