Angelina Jolie offered Perez Hilton an apology; Hilton blames her legal team
An apology from Angelina Jolie for the recent rift with Perez Hilton came in faster than expected and has given a good sign considering her recent divorce dilemma from Brad Pitt. This may be one of those days and weeks that Jolie may have already felt the stress, pressure, and heartache and may be in a state of "not being herself" lately. But a seemingly harmless article from a columnist like Hilton, have caused a disapproval from the "Maleficent" star or may be a malicious misinformation instigated by those close to her.
Looking back as to what had transpired between Angelina Jolie's legal advisers and Perez Hilton, the legal team of Jolie had sent an email to Hilton in relation to his online articles about the ongoing divorce proceedings of the "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" stars. Coming from RadarOnline, Jolie's legal team has demanded that Hilton should change certain contents of his articles titled "Brad Pitt Is 'Wrecked' By Not Seeing His Kids Since Divorce News Broke, 'Willing To Do Anything' To Make Things Work". The notorious blogger did not like the idea and posted on his Instagram account the email screenshot with some cryptic messages for Angelina Jolie and her lawyers.
In an attempt to clear the issue, the "Salt" heroine's publicist reached out to Perez Hilton saying "She actually asked me to call you and apologize," then added "The new legal team blanketed this letter to a bunch of people. We know you've been a supporter. I can have her call you as well." In a follow-up report from Mail Online, Perez Hilton spoke on KIIS FM radio program "Kyle and Jackie O" and confirmed the said news and saying that "[Angelina's] publicist revealed to me that the lawyers have been sending out a lot of aggressive letters demanding people to stop speaking about the Brangelina split." Coming from that, the "Tomb Raider" star may be taking all the negative blow without her knowing it.
From what has happened, Perez Hilton advised Angelina Jolie to change her legal team or else face bad publicity and add more enemies instead of friends.
