Jim Carey, guilty of Cathriona White's mother's wrongful-death accusations or victim of "blame" game?
Jim Carey is well known for his movies that are funny, comical and naughty. But on September 2015, his ex-girlfriend Cathriona White took her life by way of drug overdose causing speculations on the part of the comedian. Their relationship was known to be on and off, and as for Jim Carey, Cathriona White was already a "bothered soul" even before they have met.
But what prompted White's mother to follow suit like her son-in-law, Mark Burton to file wrongful-death against Jim Carey? Following Burton's case against Carey, there were probable causes that may have pointed to the latter to be the reason of Cathriona White's death. News Corp Australia recently reported a statement by Brigid Sweetman, Cathriona White's mother saying "As a family, we want the world to know the truth about who Jim Carrey really is - a man that will give your daughter three STDs, lie about it, call her terrible names and demean her, use his high-priced lawyers to try and shut her and her family up, and then give her illegal drugs."
These strong statements and accusations of Sweetman are based on lab results, text messages and handwritten letters of her daughter to Jim Carey that may have prompted her to file a similar case as with Cathriona White's estranged husband, Mark Burton. Brigid Sweetman accused Carey of using his popularity, wealth, and lawyers or handlers that have been spinning the story to hide Jim Carey's involvement in White's suicide. ABC10News has recently reported a statement from the lawyer of "The Mask" star and has already predicted the case to be "heading down the same dark path" as with Mark Burton's case.
Jim Carey may have denied the allegations and Cathriona White may be having trouble ever since, but the factual investigations of Carey having been tested positive for STD disguising as "Jose Lopez" and the text messages and lab results may be inescapable.
