Pokémon Prism: News, Update and Release Date
Pokémon Prism is the newest game that was developed by Nsomniart and TPP Devs and other artists for the past eight years. It is said to be an extension of Pokémon Gold and a sequel to the Pokémon Red hack called Pokémon Brown.
According to Tech Times, Pokémon Prism players will assume the role of either the son or daughter of Pokémon Red & Blue Elite Four Champion Lance. There will also be a new region of the world when the players will take an unexpected ride in a mine cart.
Rocket News 24 reported that in the new region called Naljo, players can catch over 200 different pocket monsters. Players can also customize their character by changing its clothing, color palette and hair style.
There will also be old and new pocket monsters. It was said that the game added new Pokémon types like gas and sound. There will also specific areas where the players can become Pokémon themselves. Aside from that, there are also new mini games, HMs and TMs which the players can collect.
Although it may have some pretty good features, it is still uncertain if Pokémon Prism will be available for a long time. Earlier this year, Pokémon Uranium was released and it was followed by a huge success. However, the developers decided to remove the game a few weeks later because of an impending threat from Nintendo pursuing legal action.
This is not the first Pokémon fan project that was shut down recently. Fans are hoping that this will not be the case with Pokémon Prism. As of writing, there are still no new updates on the game.
It was speculated that Pokémon Prism will be available sometime in December. Meanwhile other official Nintendo Pokémon games namely Pokémon Sun & Moon are scheduled to be released on Nov. 18 for Nintendo 3DS.
